    2007: Launched Ground-breaking Bankruptcy Proof of Claim Filing
    Built state-of-the-art claim filing software for major card issuer, Highly-automated solution brought enhanced efficiency to the claim filing process for clients.

    2008: Designed Chapter 7 Asset Identification Program

    Utilized proprietary data-mining technology to quickly detect when assets become available, Specialized process helped Top 5 Bank tap into hidden revenue opportunities.

    Used proprietary claim filing software and industry-leading bankruptcy database to file proofs of claim on behalf of six of the Top 10 card issuers in the U.S.

     2012: Entered Secured Bankruptcy Servicing Space with ACG Acquisition

    Blended AIS’ bankruptcy data, servicing technology and brand protection programs with Ascension Capital Group’s operational resources and legal expertise, Created the most comprehensive bankruptcy servicing platform in the industry, Gained key client partnerships in the secured market.

    2012: Opened First India-Based Operations Site in Vadodara, Gujarat
    Offshore facility allowed AIS to provide its Partners with sourcing alternatives for bankruptcy administrative/back office support, Increased client satisfaction levels by improving work quality and reducing costs.

     

  • 2016
    2016: Expanded India Presence with Second Ops Site
    Opened state-of-the-art facility, 18,000 square foot office brought total capacity to 700 seats and significantly increased ability to scale and meet the needs of AIS partners.

     

  • 2017
    2017: Increased Capabilities in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Space
    Sourced back-office and technology resources in Banking sector to improve quality and reduce cycle time for half the cost, Grew product offerings beyond bankruptcy to support additional needs in Bank Ops & Treasury, Loan Ops, Finance & Accounting, and Enterprise Risk Management.

     

  • 2018

     2018: Released New Technology Suite to Enhance Servicing Performance

    Developed and deployed proprietary servicing software to automate multiple processes across the bankruptcy lifecycle including docket monitoring, proof of claim filing, litigation (motions /objections), statement of intent/reaffirmations,
    and account closings.

     2019: Set Up New Technology/Development Hub in Gurugram

    Established AIS presence in one of the premier locations in India for diverse and niche IT skill sets, Gained access to leading IT talent increasing capabilities to quickly staff quality IT positions for clients through a BPO model, Increased utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotic process automation (RPA) in product development program.

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

  • Blake Hogan

    Blake is a recognized leader in the credit and collections industry, founding American InfoSource in 2000. As Chairman of AIS, he guides the company's strategic direction, fostering key partnerships, and providing mentorship to the executive team. He has over 30 years of industry experience, creating Hogan Information Services in 1990, which compiled public record data for 8,000 courthouses across the country. He sold the Hogan Information to First Data Corporation in 1996. While at First Data, he served on First Data Corporation's Management Committee, the Executive Committee of First Data Information Management Group and President of Innovis.

  • Tom Clark

    Tom leads business operations at AIS where he is responsible for strategic management, product development and the profitability of the organization. He brings over 25 years of banking expertise to AIS, eight of which were most recently spent as Chief Information Officer at Cadence Bank. In that time, he led the information technology, information security and bank operations functions, deploying automation and cloud migration programs to support business scalability. Prior to Cadence, he served ten years as an executive at USAA guiding information security, privacy, digital banking, large scale process automation and bank transformation initiatives and previously led early digital banking technology initiatives for Bank of America Consumer Bank.

  • Vikas Sehgal

    As Chief Information Officer, Vikas is responsible for the IT infrastructure, application development and data. In addition, he leads the administrative, support, and HR functions across India. Vikas has more than 20 years of experience providing innovative solutions to the financial services industry. Prior to joining AIS, he served as the Vice President of Information Technology at Encore Capital. 

  • Ganesh Vembu

    Ganesh manages the operations of AIS delivery centers in both the U.S. and India. He has over 19 years of work experience in various industry verticals within Banking and Financial Services. Excelling for more than a decade in the mortgage industry, Ganesh has been responsible for setting up high-performing, large operation units and building a strong pool of effective leaders. Prior to joining AIS, he was associated with Tata Consultancy Services, Altisource Portfolio Solutions, Intelenet Global Services and Thomson Reuters. He has completed his Executive General Management Program from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. 

  • Chris Mokris

    Chris joined AIS in 2011 and oversees the planning and execution of strategic business initiatives. For nearly 15 years, he held numerous Credit, Collections and Recovery positions at Bank of America and MBNA.  Prior to entering into the financial sector, Chris was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He has in depth experience successfully building and managing large Operations groups.  Chris excels at process design and migration and has a proven track record for making businesses more profitable.  He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy.

  • Wendy Wagner

    Wendy is a seasoned professional dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of quality for AIS clients. With over two decades of proven leadership experience in sales, service, and operations, she has consistently demonstrated her ability to excel in these areas. Wendy's passion lies in forging new partnerships and fortifying existing relationships. She joined AIS in 2016 with the objective of significantly enhancing the Mortgage Servicing division's performance. Her results surpassed all expectations, earning her prestigious accolades including the President's Award and consecutive Top Sales Awards.

  • Brian Welch

    Brian is responsible for the company’s global brand, product development, strategy, and all related marketing, advertising and promotional activities. In this role, he oversees the management of the AIS brand, including market insights, creative development, digital marketing, campaign effectiveness, media and employee communications. In addition, he helps lead AIS's Professional Services business line offering back-office operational support and automation to growing businesses. Brian joined AIS in 2008 to expand marketing efforts and launch a new department within the company. He was the recipient of the 2013 AIS President’s Award and 2019 Circle of Excellence Award. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin.

  • Clifford J. White III Clifford White

    Cliff assists clients in effectively administering their portfolios of default loans and implementing systems that meet the highest standards of excellence and legal compliance. For 17 years, White led the United States Trustee Program (USTP), the Department of Justice's "watchdog" of the bankruptcy system. He retired March 2022, after 42 years of federal service. He is the recipient of two Presidential Rank Awards - the highest recognition accorded to senior career executives - by President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. As Director of the USTP, his accomplishments include the implementation of key provisions of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 and the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019.
  • Blake Hogan, Jr.

    Blake spearheads the Professional Services business unit with a focus on strategic business development. By understanding market trends and client needs, he has led the expansion of AIS’s back-office outsourcing and automation solutions in the distribution, energy and insurance sectors. His ability to build and foster long-term relationships has resulted in enduring partnerships and a solid reputation in the industry. Blake is a seasoned entrepreneur with a proven history of successfully launching and scaling new businesses, driving sustainable growth through innovative strategies and relentless execution.

  • Walt Boyer

    Walt sets the vision and oversees product development and delivery for AIS’s commercial banking business line. He is responsible for optimizing our suite of banking services that transform back-office operations and provide cost-saving solutions. Prior to joining AIS, Walt served as Managing Director for MJC Partners, LLC ("MJCP"), where he supported the firm's bank M&A and strategic advisory practice in the Southwest U.S. He has had a distinguished career working in a variety of roles across the financial services industry including Chief Executive Officer and Head of Investment Banking of Mundial Financial Group, Managing Director, in the Financial Industry Advisory Group, of Alvarez & Marsal, Managing Director of Investment Banking for Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods and leadership positions with several regional commercial banks.

  • Shabana Patel

    Shabana is an operations expert, managing Auto Loan Servicing, end-to-end Litigation Operations, Product Development, and Quality & Training in our India offices. She joined AIS in 2012 and brought over 14 years of bankruptcy expertise with her, including hands-on experience in Mortgage, Secured and Unsecured Bankruptcy. She was the recipient of the 2018 AIS President’s Award. Throughout her career, she has managed teams of 100+ FTE in the default space. Prior to joining AIS, she worked with Tata Consultancy Services. Shabana holds a Master’s in Commerce degree from University of Mumbai, India. 

  • Rishikesh Sutaria

    Rishikesh joined AIS in 2016, bringing 25+ years of specialized experience in information security management and technology infrastructure implementation. He and his team manage and maintain AIS’ global IT infrastructure and information security. He is the recipient of Star Award (2017), Circle of Excellence Award (2018, 2019) and Super Hero award (2020). Before joining AIS, he worked across the U.S., India, Middle East, and UK implementing complex networks and technology - on and offshore - including a large roll out of MS Dynamics NAV ERP for a 40,000 employee multi-location organization with highly customized requirements. Rishikesh holds an MBA in Information Technology and is CISSP & CISA certified.

  • Seema Vats

    In 2019, Seema joined AIS to deliver quality software products, stable applications, and strategic business intelligence that allowed the company to achieve its growth goals. She brings nearly two decades of rich financial services industry experience. She has worked for organizations like Incedo, Encore Capital, United Health Group, and Sapient. Seema has done B-Tech from Delhi University.
